house FranCo
traditional stone house has been carefully renovated into five-star boutique rooms in the historic center of the town of omiš, croatia. the values carried through three generations of our clients’ family shaped the aesthetics of this home, infusing the design with memory and meaning.
for our studio, the project became an exercise in humility and empathy, guiding us to listen closely and respond with sensitivity. it embodies our vision of an imaginary future local living: drawing on traditional craftsmanship and high-quality local materials, while reducing forms to match the rhythm of minimal yet hedonistic life today.
to deepen this dialogue, we invited contemporary artists to contribute site-specific ceramic and textile installations, enriching the house with layers of cultural continuity and contemporary expression.
